Grilled Salmon with Asparagus and Butter Sauce


Serves 2


Cook time: 25 minutes


Ingredients

  • 2 - 8oz. salmon fillets
  • 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed and rinsed
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. dried dill, or 3 sprigs fresh dill, chopped
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder


Directions

  1. Pat salmon dry and set aside.
  2. Preheat broiler or grill to high
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter, onion powder, garlic powder, and dill. Keep flame on very low.
  4. Line broiler pan with tinfoil.
  5. Lay salmon, skin side down on foil, and put under the broiler. (if grilling, brush the grill with oil to prevent sh from sticking)
  6. Cook sh for approximately 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, add asparagus to foil and broil alongside fish.
  7. Turn asparagus once before fish is done.
  8. Set fish and asparagus on a plate and drizzle with the melted butter sauce
