Caveman BBQ Rub

Spices make everything taste better and when the spices have benefits, they should be a staple in all healthy pantry's.

Cumin has benefits ranging from aiding digestion, helping with diabetes, regulating blood sugar and assisting with weight loss. Dark chili powder sets your metabolic rate on fire, and the rest add to a tasty spicy rub for chicken, fish, pork and beef!

Makes: 1 cup

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup cumin
  • 2 tbs. dark chili powder
  • 1/4 cup Spanish paprika
  • 2 tbs. white pepper
  • 1 tbs. Mexican oregano

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients.

2. Apply liberally to meat of choice.
