  • 2 turkey drumsticks
  • filtered water
  • 1 tbs. sea salt
  • 2 tbs. coconut oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp. marjoram
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
  • handful of fresh parsley, chopped (or 2 tsp. dried)

Directions

1. Place turkey drumsticks in crockpot and cover with filtered water. Add tablespoon salt. Cook on low 3–4 hours.

2. When turkey meat is tender, remove drumsticks from pot and set aside.

3. Heat coconut oil in large skillet. Add garlic and stir. Add remaining veggies, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until tender (10–15 minutes). Add parsley.

4. While veggies cook, remove turkey meat from bones and tear or cut into small chunks. Reserve skin and bones for Turkey Broth.
